2. One Size Wheel Clamp Steel Shield is manufactured from Stainless Steel.

The Steel Shield is made from 2mm thick Stainless Steel. Place it in front of the Wheel its going to be secured to.

The Stainless Steel Shield unique shape is cut on a computerised laser cutting machine. This ensures the highest quality of workmanship, precise measurements and quality control procedures for each Stainless Steel Shield.

3. What does the Stainless Steel Shield do.

The Stainless Steel Shield is Australian designed and manufactured.

It stands in front of the Wheel it is going to protect covering the wheel nuts and the tyre's valve and keeps the included 10mm diameter High Tensile Chain in the correct position via four specifically positioned holes, two at the top and two at the bottom.

4. External finish of the Stainless Steel Shield.

Stainless Steel DOES NOT require an external finish applied to the surface to protect it from oxidation.

From 2008 the Steel Shield was made from Mild Steel then zinc plated.

In July 2010 we started to make the Steel Shield from Stainless Steel.

Up to the end of 2012 we offered purchasers the Stainless Steel Shield with a brush finish instead of the standard light gray finish for an additional $59 but only a few purchasers paid the extra for the brush finish therefore as of January 01, 2013 we removed the brush finish option.

5. How to fit the Stainless Steel Shield to a vehicle's Wheel.

There are two methods to fit the Australian made Wheel Clamp depending on the Vehicle type. The following list is a guide to indicate whether you use fitting method one or two.

1. Fitting Method One for all towable or drivable vehicles listed below plus any other type of towable Vehicle not listed.
2. Fitting Method Two used for the vehicles listed below.

6. Benefits and features of the Stainless Steel Shield.

NB: No security device will stop professional thieves, about 1% of thieves. Based on our research there is no other security device that stops 99% of thieves or in fact 98% of thieves.

Some wheel clamps can be removed by deflating the Tyre.

It would not matter if the Tyre was completely deflated with the Australian made Wheel Clamp protecting a Wheel.

WHY...

The Tyre can be completely deflated and it is still Impossible To Remove the Australian made Wheel Clamp from the Wheel because the Chain used to fit the Stainless Steel Shield to the Wheel is wrapped round the towable or driveable vehicle's leaf springs or tubular frame, as used to manufacture most Caravan chassis, or another part of the chassis if the Vehicle has coil springs and/or piston suspension.
